What Is Unity?

Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome here.

Unity is an inclusive spiritual community where people come to grow, connect, and deepen their awareness of the Divine in themselves and in the world around them.

Rooted in positive, practical Christianity, we encourage spiritual exploration, personal growth, and discovering ways to bring more peace, purpose, and love into everyday life.

What We Believe:

Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome here.

We believe the Love of God lives within every person—including you. Love is our highest calling, and spiritual principles can transform everyday life. We look to the Bible and the teachings of Jesus as our guide while honoring the wisdom found in many spiritual traditions.

Our beliefs are grounded in five simple principles that guide the way we live, grow, and serve.

One Presence and One Power:

We believe there is one Divine Presence–God, the one universal Good–at the heart of all of life. This Presence isn’t distant or separate from us. It is the love, wisdom, life, and strength always available to us.

The Divine Within:

We believe there is a Divine Presence within each of us. Your worth isn’t something you have to earn; it is already part of who you are. Nothing you experience in life can diminish the Divine within you. As we recognize that same Divine Presence in others, it changes how we see and treat one another.

The Creative Power of Thought:

What we consistently focus on influences how we see the world and how we respond.. By becoming more aware of our thoughts and beliefs, we can choose where to place our attention and open ourselves to greater peace, purpose, and possibility.

Prayer Changes Us:

Prayer and meditation aren’t about trying to change God—they help change us. As we become still and listen deeply, we become more aware of the wisdom, peace, and Divine Presence already within and around us. In affirmative prayer, we focus on the spiritual Truth we know and open ourselves to living from them.

Living What We Believe:

Our spirituality comes alive in the way we live it. We live the spiritual truths we know through prayer and meditation, mindful choices, and the love, forgiveness, and service we bring into the world.
